BRI’s Profit Track Record Over 18 Years: From IDR 6 Trillion to IDR 57 Trillion

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) recorded a net profit of IDR 57.13 trillion throughout 2025. This profit decreased by 5.26% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 60.30 trillion in 2024.

In terms of intermediation, BRI’s consolidated credit grew to IDR 1,521.49 trillion, an increase of 12.31% yoy at the end of 2025. BRI’s total assets were recorded at IDR 2,135.37 trillion.

In line with this, the ratio of non-performing loans (NPL) gross increased to 3.29% and net NPL increased to 0.96%.

Historically, Bank BRI has consistently recorded profits year after year.

From the data above, it can be seen that over the past 18 years, Bank BRI has successfully increased its profits from around IDR 6 trillion in 2008 to IDR 57.13 trillion in 2025.
