PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has revealed that its disbursement of subsidised housing loans (KUR Perumahan) up to July 2026 had reached Rp10.6 trillion, or around 88.3 percent of the Rp12 trillion target set by the government.

In terms of units, the bank noted that the achievement had reached 77,592 units, or 167 percent of the target of 46,230 units.

“For KUR Perumahan itself, BRI’s achievement is already approaching 89 percent. Therefore, the target going forward will also be raised,” said BRI President Director Hery Gunardi in a statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Of the national KUR Perumahan target of 88,535 units with a Rp50 trillion ceiling, BRI’s target share is 46,230 units, or about 52.2 percent of the national target. In terms of the ceiling, BRI’s target contribution accounts for 24 percent of the total national target.

Hery explained that KUR Perumahan is a subsidised programme, so the pricing or interest charged to customers is only 6 percent per year, or around 0.5 percent per month. As a result, the instalments remain highly affordable, which has generated enthusiasm among the public.

“If we look at it, the growth in disbursement has been quite high, and I believe it will continue through to the end of the year,” said Hery.

In addition to KUR Perumahan, BRI continues to accelerate the disbursement of Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan (FLPP) housing loans. As of 20 July 2026, BRI’s realised FLPP disbursement had reached 19,075 units.

Meanwhile, for the national housing financing programme as a whole, the bank has been mandated to finance 148,535 units, or about 34.5 percent of the national target of 430,535 units.

The bank stated that this commitment reinforces its position as a strategic partner of the government in supporting equitable access to decent and affordable housing for low-income communities, while accelerating the realisation of the 3 Million Houses Programme, one of the nation’s priority agendas.

Meanwhile, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait gave special appreciation for BRI’s contribution, judging it to be the best-performing bank in KUR Perumahan disbursement.

According to him, BRI’s contribution is the largest compared with other banking institutions.

“This week alone we discussed KUR twice with the President. The first was in Hambalang last week, and the second was yesterday, when it was reported during a briefing by the Coordinating Minister. The highest achievement of all KUR schemes is KUR Perumahan, and the highest performer in KUR Perumahan is Bank BRI,” said Maruarar in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/7).
