BRI's Housing Financing Distribution Reaches Rp22 Trillion, Surpassing Other Banks
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait visited the headquarters of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) on Tuesday (21/7/2026) to evaluate the bank’s growth in subsidised housing loan distribution.
BRI President Director Hery Gunardi explained that the subsidised housing programme consists of two schemes: the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) and the Housing Programme Credit (KPP). The bank’s combined target for both programmes totals Rp95 trillion. According to Hery, BRI has disbursed Rp22 trillion as of July 2026, comprising Rp10 trillion for FLPP and Rp52 trillion for KPP.
"For the Housing KUR itself, from the target given to us, BRI’s achievement is already nearly 89%. So the Minister will raise the target again later. And for FLPP, from the Rp10 trillion target provided, we have only disbursed around 32%," Hery stated at Sentra BRI on Tuesday (21/7/2026).
He expressed confidence that the state-owned bank would exceed its targets. "It is only July, so the hope is that by December, BRI will achieve more than 100% of the target," Hery said.
On the same occasion, Maruarar praised BRI’s performance as the highest among all lenders. "The highest Housing KUR achievement comes from BRI’s performance. I greatly appreciate that, based on the available data, BRI alone is larger than all other banks combined," said the minister, who is familiarly known as Ara.
