BRINS Mobilises 108 Workshops and Mudik Posts Across Major Cities for Secure 2026 Homecoming
PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia, or BRI Insurance (BRINS), has launched a groundbreaking initiative to support the 2026 Lebaran homecoming journey. Titled “Layanan Siaga Mudik Lebaran 2026” (Mudik Alert Service for 2026 Lebaran), this programme aims to mitigate various risks including theft, fire, flooding, natural disasters affecting assets such as homes, apartments, shophouses, and businesses, as well as vehicle-related challenges during the homecoming journey.
In implementing this service, BRI Insurance has prepared several support facilities to ensure a smooth mudik experience. One key component is the establishment of alert posts branded “BRINS Stop Point”, strategically located across four cities: Yogyakarta, Semarang, Pekalongan, and Surabaya.
Beyond the mudik posts, BRINS has mobilised 108 Alert Workshops nationwide, supported by 24-hour towing and recovery services (subject to terms and conditions). The company states that this programme represents a tangible commitment to providing services that are closer and directly accessible to the public, particularly for private vehicle users and those leaving their assets unattended during the holiday period.
In addition to emergency standby services, BRI Insurance is offering special promotional insurance packages for the Lebaran mudik edition, valid from 9 to 27 March 2026.
For vehicle protection, BRINS OTO vehicle insurance offers a 25 per cent discount accompanied by cashback and Pertamina vouchers ranging from 150,000 to 600,000 rupiahs. Additionally, BRINS DIRI personal accident insurance is available at a 25 per cent discount (subject to terms and conditions).
Through this combination of alert services, BRI Insurance hopes to ensure that Indonesian travellers’ homecoming journeys and Lebaran holiday experiences this year proceed more safely, comfortably, and with greater peace of mind.
