BRIN to Report on Research Developments Across Various Fields to Prabowo

Jakarta (ANTARA) — National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Head Arif Satria is preparing several reports on research developments across various fields to present to President Prabowo Subianto at a meeting at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Arif said the reports cover developments in water, health, disaster management, waste management and satellites, areas that have drawn the President’s attention.

“He has on several occasions tasked BRIN with providing updates on research developments in various fields that are of concern to him,” Arif said.

He explained that these fields are part of the assignments the President has continued to give BRIN. The agency is therefore preparing reports on ongoing research in line with those instructions.

“First, water; second, health; third, disaster management, then waste, and also satellites,” he said.

Arif said BRIN would present updates on these fields at its meeting with the President.

However, Arif did not say who would attend the meeting with President Prabowo that afternoon.
