BRIN Showcases Research Results to Support Government Priority Programmes

President Prabowo Subianto invited hundreds of researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to the State Palace to showcase research results expected to address various national challenges, ranging from food security and waste management to coastal area protection. More than 150 researchers from various regions in Indonesia presented their research supporting the government’s priority programmes directly to the President. The President engaged in dialogue with the researchers to explore the potential application of the research so that it can provide real benefits to the community. The government is encouraging research results not to stop at the laboratory, but to be downstreamed into solutions for various national development issues. By utilising research and innovation results, the government hopes that various priority programmes can run more effectively and improve community welfare in a sustainable manner.
