BRIN Researchers Showcase Innovations, Including Nuclear, to President
The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) showcased approximately 150 to 200 innovation products from 12 research clusters to President Prabowo Subianto during a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday. All products on display had undergone a curation process and represented various strategic research fields developed by BRIN.
“We have 12 clusters of products. After curation, there are around 150 to 200 products,” said BRIN Head Prof Arif Satria to the media at the Presidential Palace on Thursday.
According to Arif, President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled not only to listen to presentations on the research results but also to directly inspect the various innovation products and engage in dialogue with the researchers. This was because the research results were also exhibited during the meeting.
The products on display originated from 12 BRIN research clusters, covering food, energy, health, transportation, housing, space, aviation, nuclear, rare earth metals, as well as innovations supporting the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) and the development of fishing villages.
