BRIN Presents 12 Innovation Clusters to President Prabowo
A total of 150 researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) presented their research and innovation results across 12 clusters to President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, as support for resolving various national issues. BRIN Head Arif Satria said the researchers received a special invitation to present their research results more comprehensively before the President. “We at BRIN feel honoured because the researchers were invited to the Palace to dialogue with the President,” he said. According to Arif, the meeting was a continuation of a number of research presentations previously delivered to the President in limited meetings in Hambalang and at the Presidential Palace. On this occasion, BRIN presented 12 research clusters, covering the fields of food, energy, health, transportation, housing, space, aviation, nuclear, rare earth metals, as well as innovations supporting the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) and fishing villages. In addition to the presentations, BRIN also showcased a number of innovative products scheduled to be reviewed directly by President Prabowo together with the researchers. Arif said the researchers enthusiastically welcomed the opportunity to dialogue directly with the President while receiving direction regarding the development of national research and innovation. According to him, BRIN continues to strive to produce research that can be utilised to answer various development challenges and support the government’s priority programmes.
