Brimob to safeguard trains during break

CIREBON, West Java: State train operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) is cooperating with the National Police to assure the safety of travellers during the upcoming Idul Fitri holidays.

A PT KAI spokesman said five Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officers and five PT KAI security guards would safeguard each train.

He said company had also instructed its employees not to take leave during the Idul Fitri holiday, to maximize service to the public. -- JP
