Brimob Polda Metro Sterilises Monas, Ensures Safe May Day

The police urged the public around Monas to remain orderly and follow the instructions of the officers. The police also urged the public to immediately contact the 110 service if they find anything suspicious to maintain collective security. For information, the peak of the International Labour Day or May Day 2026 celebrations is being held today at the National Monument (Monas). A total of 24,980 combined personnel have been deployed to secure the 2026 May Day activities centred at Monas up to the DPR/MPR area. The involved forces consist of elements from Polri, TNI, Pemprov DKI Jakarta, and other security units.
