Brimob Polda Metro Jaya Secures Fire Site at SPBE Cimuning, Bekasi

Personnel from the Brimob Corps of Polda Metro Jaya have assisted in securing the site of the Stasiun Pengisian Bulking Elpiji (SPBE) Cimuning in Mustikajaya, Bekasi City, following a fire incident. The blaze occurred in the early hours of Thursday (2/4). These steps were taken to ensure the security of the national vital object and to prevent potential further dangers in the affected area.

The deployment of the force aims to sterilise the area so that the investigation process and post-fire handling can proceed smoothly without interference from unauthorised parties. Given its status as a vital object, strict security is necessary to protect state assets and guarantee the safety of residents around the incident site.

“In addition to assisting with site security, Brimob personnel are also regulating traffic flow around the fire area to avoid congestion and provide space for firefighting vehicles,” stated the Commander of Brimob Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Henik Maryanto, in his remarks on Thursday (2/4).

The police have also urged the public not to approach the police line that has been set up in the SPBE Cimuning area for the smooth conduct of examination procedures by the Labfor (Forensic Laboratory) team.

Dozens of firefighting vehicles were deployed to the fire site at SPBE Cimuning, Mustikajaya, Bekasi, on Wednesday (1/4).
