Brimob Continues Tight Security at Office Building in Hayam Wuruk Area This Morning

It is known that Brimob personnel were deployed since Friday (8/5) late at night. Based on observations by detikcom, on Saturday (9/5/2026) around 08:00 WIB, dozens of Brimob members were still lined up in front of the building. They were on alert facing the entrance of a glass-fronted building.

On the other hand, two personnel equipped with tactical gear such as helmets, bulletproof vests, masks, and long-barrelled weapons were guarding the building’s entrance. There were also security officers in black uniforms on standby at the location.

Occasionally, residents could be seen passing by the area. They appeared confused by the tight security but continued walking.

Meanwhile, in the office building area guarded by Brimob personnel, activity appeared minimal. From outside, only rows of chairs and microphones with barrier lines could be seen in the building’s lobby area.

This layered security deployment is strongly suspected to be related to law enforcement actions regarding a major case currently being handled by the police.
