BRImo Receives Digital Innovation in Business Transformation Award at Digital Innovation Awards
Jakarta – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, has once again received recognition for its ongoing digital transformation. The BRImo super app secured the ‘Digital Innovation in Business Transformation’ award at the Digital Innovation Awards (DIA) 2026, organised by iNews Media Group at the iNews Tower, Jakarta, on Thursday (22/5). The event serves as an appreciation for institutions and individuals deemed successful in delivering real impact through technological innovation and digitalisation across various sectors.
BRImo continues to be developed as a super app featuring integrated financial services within a single platform. Various features have been introduced, ranging from digital account opening, QRIS, and cross-bank transfers to investments, as well as lifestyle and financial services to support the increasingly dynamic transaction needs of the public.
This initiative is part of BRI’s digital transformation to strengthen its integrated digital service ecosystem. As of April 2026, BRImo has recorded more than 48.43 million users, with a transaction volume reaching Rp2,749.17 trillion and a transaction frequency of 2.15 billion transactions. This achievement reflects the high level of adoption of BRI’s digital services by the public and reinforces BRImo’s position as one of the company’s primary digital transaction platforms.
BRI Corporate Secretary, Dhanny, stated that BRI’s digital transformation remains focused on providing services that are relevant to the increasingly digital transaction needs of the community.
“We continue to develop BRImo to provide a seamless, secure, and relevant transaction experience for the public. The continuous growth in digital transactions also provides a positive contribution to strengthening the company’s low-cost funds, thereby driving a more efficient and sustainable funding structure. This award serves as motivation for BRI to continue strengthening service innovation, expanding financial inclusion, and bolstering the company’s business growth,” added Dhanny.
With evolving service innovations and high user adoption, BRImo is expected to continue enhancing the digital transaction experience while driving financial inclusion in Indonesia.
Co-CEO of MNC Group, Angela Tanoesoedibjo, remarked that amidst the dynamic development of the digital world, society can see how technology not only changes how we work and communicate but also opens wider access to education, services, business opportunities, and community empowerment.
“Through the theme ‘Empowering Indonesia through Digital Literacy’, tonight we want to emphasise that technological progress must go hand in hand with the improvement of digital literacy. Ultimately, the strength of digital transformation lies not just in the technology itself, but in how that technology can be understood, utilised, and provide real benefits to the wider community,” she said.
