Brigadier General Wawan Muliawan Appointed Deputy Head of Baintelkam

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has implemented a rotation of positions within the Baintelkam (Intelligence Agency) of the Indonesian National Police. Brigadier General Wawan Muliawan, who previously served as Director of Special Operations (Dirkamsus), has been promoted to the position of Deputy Head of Baintelkam (Wakabaintelkam).

The rotation within the Baintelkam environment is based on National Police Chief Telegram Number: ST/1584/VII/KEP./2026, issued on Friday, 31 July 2026. A total of ten positions within Baintelkam have been rotated by the National Police Chief.

In addition to Baintelkam, the National Police Chief has also rotated positions in several regional commands and within the International Relations Division (Divhubinter) of the Indonesian National Police. According to the telegram dated 30 July 2026, several high-ranking officers have been transferred, including Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, who has been promoted to Head of the International Relations Division (Kadiv Hubinter Polri).

“Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Untung Widyatmoko, formerly NCB Interpol Indonesia within the International Relations Division, has been appointed to the new position of Head of the International Relations Division,” the telegram stated.
