Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji Appointed as Sultra Police Chief, Brigadier General Yudhi as Bengkulu Police Chief
The rotation of senior Polri officers was approved through Police Chief Telegram Letter Number ST/960/V/KEP/2026 on Dismissal from and Appointment to Positions within Polri, signed by the Assistant Police Chief for Human Resources, Inspector General Anwar, dated 7 May 2026.
Viewed by detikcom on Saturday (9/5/2026), Brigadier General Himawan will serve as the Police Chief of Southeast Sulawesi, replacing Inspector General Didik Agung Widjanarko who has been reassigned as a senior officer at the Southeast Sulawesi Police. Brigadier General Himawan will also receive a one-rank promotion due to his new position as police chief.
Meanwhile, the position of Head of the Cyber Crime Directorate at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency will be filled by Brigadier General Adex Yudiswan, who previously served as Head of the Joint Operations Command for the Police Navy.
Furthermore, Brigadier General Yudhi Sulistianto Wahid has been appointed to his new role as Police Chief of Bengkulu. He replaces Inspector General Mardiyono, who has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Police Logistics and Personnel at the Police Navy.
