Business Director of Bittime, Junji Misael, explained that the collaboration is expected to facilitate domestic investors in facing market volatility. Bittime offers seamless onboarding from rupiah to digital assets.
“As a platform providing global tokenised assets, we are committed to providing 24/7 investment access without additional charges via the IDR swap to USDT assets. This is highly relevant amid the current economic volatility,” Junji said in Jakarta on Thursday (21 May 2026).
The integration enables users to access tokenised global assets such as gold, the US dollar, and US stocks within a single ecosystem. These assets are now more affordable due to their fractional nature, making them effective hedging instruments.
In line with this vision, Nobu Bank’s Head of Universe Merchant Business and Interlink Development, Chandra Lesmana, said that the future of finance will be increasingly connected between traditional and digital banking. The collaboration marks an initial step in building a more inclusive ecosystem for the public.
