Bridgestone Launches Potenza Adrenalin RE005, Offering More Optimal Handling

Bridgestone Asia Pacific has officially introduced its latest addition to its premium sport tyre range, the Potenza Adrenalin RE005. Developed under the concept ‘Maximizing Driving Pleasure’, Seigo Hata, Vice President Sales & Marketing Bridgestone Asia Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd., explained that the Potenza Adrenalin RE005 was created to meet the maximum needs of high-performance cars in everyday driving conditions. ‘The Potenza Adrenalin RE005 is designed to deliver full driving enjoyment. Drivers can experience increased confidence in wet conditions, and it can be applied to a range of vehicles, including electric cars,’ he said at the launch at Bridgestone’s Proving Ground facility in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand, on Thursday 5 March 2026.

Chief Technology Officer of Bridgestone Asia Pacific, Takahashi Oono, said the Adrenalin RE005 is designed from the circuit-to-road concept. ‘This new product brings the latest design technologies and cutting-edge analytics, including component design technologies that are all connected to our experience in the world of motorsport,’ he said. ‘We have improved responsiveness, while delivering more optimal handling and braking,’ he added.

Bridgestone is presenting the new product in a range of sizes, from 14 inches to 20 inches, for a variety of passenger cars.

Although it has only been launched in Thailand, the Potenza Adrenalin RE005 is reportedly set to be marketed in several other Asia-Pacific markets, including Indonesia.
