Bridge Day: Jakarta-bound Toll Roads Experience Gridlock at Multiple Points

Traffic on toll roads heading towards Jakarta was congested today due to increased volume. According to Jasa Marga’s X account, as observed at 07:12 WIB on Friday, 29 May 2026, congestion occurred on the Jagorawi Toll Road between Cililitan km 01 and Cawang km 00 due to high vehicle volume heading towards Tebet. Congestion was also reported on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) between Halim km 01 and Cawang km 00, with the opposite direction between Karawang Barat km 42 and km 44 towards Cikampek also experiencing traffic jams. Jasa Marga stated, ‘High traffic volume.’ On the Dalam Kota (Dalkot) Toll Road, congestion was noted between Kuningan km 06 and Pancoran km 03+600 due to a truck rollover accident in lane one, while the section between Cawang km 00 and Tebet km 03 was congested due to high vehicle volume. Meanwhile, traffic on the JORR W2S Toll Road from Pondok Pinang to Veteran, Ulujami, and Pondok Ranji was flowing smoothly in both directions. Additionally, the JORR E Toll Road from TMII to Rorotan and the opposite direction was reported as clear.
