Two men were reported missing after falling into a river along with part of a pier-like section of a dock bridge that collapsed in Sungai Landak Village, Senyerang District, Tanjungjabung Barat Regency, on Jambi’s east coast, on Wednesday afternoon (20 May). The two victims, whose identities were not yet known, were still being searched as of Wednesday evening by the USS Tungkal Search and Rescue Team together with TNI-Polri personnel and local residents in the fast-flowing Limau River. According to a release from the Jambi Office of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), the victims were working at the time welding a section of the bridge.
