RICE INSPECTION: President Megawati Soekarnoputri, accompanied by
Minister of Agriculture Bungaran Saragih (left), inspects a field
in Sukamandi, West Java, where new varieties of rice are being
grown. The visit was part of her activities to mark the opening
of National Rice Week in the town on Monday. Megawati also handed
over rice seeds to local farmers during the event.
