Bandung — The panel of judges of the Bandung District Court for Corruption Offences (Tipikor) on Monday, 15 June 2026, convict Sarjan and sentenced him to three years and three months in prison for his role in a bribery case involving projects in the Bekasi Regency government. The court found that the defendant, together with others, committed acts of corruption as charged in the second indictment. The judge ruled that Sarjan bribed former Bekasi Regent Ade Kunang and his father HM Kunang to secure a number of projects within the Bekasi Regency government. In addition, the panel ordered Sarjan to pay a fine of Rp150 million; if the fine is not paid, Sarjan’s assets will be seized and auctioned. “The defendant is sentenced to three years and three months in prison and a fine of Rp150 million,” the judge said.
