BRI Supports Education Quality through CSR for Manado Primary School
Manado (ANTARA) – BRI Region 16 Manado is helping to improve the quality of education through a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme for a primary school in Manado, North Sulawesi.
“We remain committed to supporting improvements in the quality of education in North Sulawesi, rather than simply pursuing business,” BRI Boulevard Manado Branch Head Fauzan Rahman said in Manado on Wednesday.
He said BRI’s Boulevard Manado branch was providing assistance for the construction of SD Kartika Jaya XXI-1 Manado through its CSR programme.
The support was marked by a ground-breaking ceremony for the school’s construction, attended by Fauzan Rahman, the BRI Boulevard branch head, together with the commander of Korem 131/Santiago and the chair of the Kartika Jaya Foundation’s Korem 131 coordinator.
BRI’s involvement, he said, was part of the company’s efforts to make a positive contribution to the community, including by supporting education.
He said support for education was one way the company demonstrated its concern for social development and improvements in the quality of human resources.
Through the CSR programme, BRI hopes to make a tangible contribution to the community, particularly by supporting a better educational environment.
“We believe education plays an important role in preparing a high-quality next generation,” Fauzan said.
He explained that BRI Region 16 Manado, including the Boulevard branch, continued to work to deliver benefits not only through banking services but also through social activities that have a positive impact on the surrounding community.
He said cooperation between businesses, educational institutions and various stakeholders was needed to support sustainable development.
The ground-breaking ceremony marked the first step in the construction of educational facilities at SD Kartika Jaya XXI-1 Manado.
Through its support, BRI hopes to help create a learning environment that supports the development and future of young people.
