PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) is strengthening its support for investment and business activity in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, through the development of integrated banking services for investors.

BRI Director of Corporate Banking Riko Tasmaya said investor needs differ at each stage of business. For this reason, BRI is positioning its banking services as part of the investment ecosystem, from investment preparation through to the company’s operational phase.

“Every investment has different needs at each stage. From preparing an investment to entering the operational phase, companies require financial support as well as a business ecosystem that can sustain their operations,” Riko said in a written statement from the Batam Investment Forum 2026, quoted on Monday (17/8/2026).

According to him, BRI, through its Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) team, also provides support to foreign investors looking to develop businesses in Indonesia. The team helps BRI understand investor needs while connecting them with the capabilities and services available within the BRI Group.

“BRI wants to be present from the moment investors begin building their businesses in Indonesia. Therefore, the support we provide does not stop at financing, but also covers transaction needs, trade and forex, cash flow management, and various solutions that support the company’s operational activities,” Riko said.

This support is expanded through synergies with BRI Group subsidiaries. BRI Insurance (BRINS), for example, provides protection for various assets related to investment realisation, such as factory buildings, equipment, vehicles, and micro insurance needs.

Meanwhile, BRI Finance provides vehicle financing solutions to support mobility and the company’s operational needs. This synergy is directed so that investor needs can be served within a single ecosystem, both in terms of financing and asset protection.

These various services are integrated through the One BRI Solution concept. Available services include corporate accounts, corporate cards, foreign exchange transactions, trade finance, bank guarantees, cash management, payroll, as well as employee facilities such as home and vehicle ownership financing.

The strengthening of these services is considered relevant to Batam’s position as an industrial area and one of the entry points for foreign investment into Indonesia. Investment growth in Batam is expected not only to increase investment value but also to provide a multiplier effect for suppliers, workers, and local business players connected to the industrial supply chain.

“With integrated capabilities, an extensive network, and a customer ecosystem from various segments, BRI is optimistic that it can become a partner with comprehensive solutions for investors, while continuing to support the entry of quality investment and helping to create a multiplier effect for economic activity in Batam and Indonesia,” Riko concluded.
