BRI Records 1.18 Million BRILink Agents Across 66,450 Villages as of March
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk recorded that the number of BRILink Agents reached more than 1.18 million agents spread across 66,450 villages by the end of March 2026, covering more than 80 per cent of the total villages in Indonesia.
The company stated that this reach strengthens the role of BRILink Agents as a partnership-based financial services network at the village level.
BRI Micro Director Akhmad Purwakajaya, in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday, conveyed that BRILink Agents serve as the company’s main channel in reaching the broad transactional needs of the public.
This network, Akhmad explained, provides services that are easily accessible to the community and accelerates transaction processes, ensuring that public economic activities continue to run smoothly.
“That role positions BRILink Agents as a driver of people’s economy,” he said.
BRILink Agents offer various financial transaction features, including transfers, payments for various bills and instalments, purchases of digital products such as credit and data packages, as well as top-ups for electronic money and digital wallets.
In addition, BRILink Agents also handle cash deposits and withdrawals that support the public’s daily transaction needs.
Throughout the first quarter of 2026, BRILink Agents recorded a transaction volume of Rp420 trillion. The high transaction activity also contributed to the company’s fee-based income (FBI) of Rp459 billion.
Furthermore, the company noted that the contribution of BRILink Agents to gathering low-cost funds continues to strengthen, with the average daily balance of low-cost funds (current account savings account/CASA) collected reaching Rp30 trillion or growing 18.37 per cent year-on-year (yoy).
BRILink Agents also experienced an increase in advance fund distribution of 33.29 per cent (yoy), from the previous Rp5.4 trillion to Rp7.2 trillion.
Akhmad stated that this achievement proves the role of BRILink Agents not only in serving financial transaction needs but also as part of the public’s daily economic activities.
“This reaffirms BRI’s consistency in building an inclusive financial ecosystem, expanding access, and sustainably empowering the community,” Akhmad concluded.
