Jakarta – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is taking an active role in supporting the smooth conduct of the 2026 holiday travel season. On this occasion, BRI is collaborating with the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Board (BP BUMN) to organise the 2026 Free BUMN Holiday Travel programme under the theme “Safe Travel, Shared Hope”.

This year, BRI is providing 100 buses for 5,000 travellers who will journey on routes including Jakarta–Yogyakarta, Jakarta–Wonogiri, and Jakarta–Surabaya. Additionally, BRI is providing 75 buses for travellers returning to the Padang region of West Sumatra during the 2026 Eid holiday period.

BRI’s Corporate Secretary, Dhanny, stated that BRI, as part of the Danantara group, continues to play an active role in providing excellent service to the community. Through the provision of 175 buses, BRI hopes to help reduce the congestion of private vehicles on roads whilst mitigating accident risks during the 2026 Eid holiday period.

“This programme is designed to support safe and comfortable travel to destinations,” Dhanny said.

Dhanny added that the programme not only provides free transport facilities but is also designed with attention to passenger safety and comfort standards.

“From fleet roadworthiness, driver preparedness, to coordination with relevant parties—all form part of the thorough preparation BRI has undertaken to ensure the travellers’ journey proceeds smoothly,” Dhanny added.

Through this programme, BRI hopes to continue being part of Indonesians’ journey in celebrating Eid al-Fitr with their families, whilst strengthening the corporation’s role as a trusted partner in every phase of the community’s life.
