BRI operates foreign exchange services at strategic locations
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BRI) operates foreign exchange services at strategic locations.
In a statement in Jakarta on Saturday, BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny said BRI Money Changer outlets are fully operational to serve customers at key international transport hubs.
The foreign exchange service is available directly at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, Bintan Telani Port in Bintan, and the Motaain Border Crossing Post in East Nusa Tenggara.
In addition to these dedicated outlets, foreign exchange services are widely available through BRI’s network of branches across Indonesia.
To accommodate diverse transaction needs, BRI Money Changer handles 20 major foreign currencies, including US Dollar (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Philippine Peso (PHP), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Korean Won (KRW), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Saudi Riyal (SAR), Thai Baht (THB), New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), Vietnamese Dong (VND), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Swiss Franc (CHF), Canadian Dollar (CAD), UAE Dirham (AED), and Brunei Dollar (BND).
“This service development is a concrete effort by BRI to simplify customer transactions by providing practical foreign exchange solutions at departure and arrival points. Through competitive exchange rates and maintained service standards, BRI ensures certainty and efficiency for customers,” Dhanny said.
He added that the money changer service is part of the company’s efforts to provide accessible foreign exchange transactions for the public.
“Through our money changer service, BRI ensures all foreign exchange transactions are conducted officially, securely, and integrated with the banking system. The service is also expected to support the smooth flow of economic activities and public mobility in high cross-border activity areas,” Dhanny concluded.
