BRI Life Provides Travel Insurance for Eid Homecomers
BRI Life is providing insurance protection for the public undertaking Eid homecoming journeys. This product is offered to provide peace of mind amid the increased mobility during the long holiday period.
BRI Life Director Sutadi stated that the protection is provided through the MODI-MOtraveling insurance product, designed to cover accident risks during travel.
“For this year’s homecoming, the public can choose BRI Life’s MODI-MOtraveling insurance as protection against accident risks during the journey,” said Sutadi on Wednesday (18/3/2026).
Sutadi explained that the MODI product is a digital insurance that can be accessed directly without complex administrative processes. All stages, from package selection to policy monitoring, are conducted online.
“The entire process, from package selection, policy purchase, to policy monitoring, is done online, thus providing convenience, speed, and comfort for the public in obtaining protection anytime and anywhere,” Sutadi added.
BRI Life offers affordable and flexible premiums with protection periods ranging from daily to annual. The coverage value reaches Rp100 million and can be accessed without health examinations with a quick registration process.
“We hope the public can enjoy homecoming protection in a safer and more efficient way, ensuring that Eid moments remain filled with beautiful memories,” Sutadi continued.
Additionally, BRI Life, together with BRI, provides personal accident protection through the Double Care product for participants in the 2026 Free SOE Homecoming programme. This protection covers homecomers as well as bus crew during the journey.
Sutadi explained that the benefits include compensation for death due to accidents, permanent disability protection, and partial permanent disability compensation in accordance with policy terms.
“Third, compensation for partial permanent disability (without loss of body parts) due to accidents will be paid as a percentage of the sum insured according to policy terms during the coverage period,” Sutadi added.
This year, Bank BRI is transporting 5,000 homecomers and 240 bus crew from several points in Jakarta, such as Gelora Bung Karno, Otista, Menara BRIPens, and BSD. The destinations include various cities such as Surabaya, Wonogiri, and Yogyakarta.
“Personal accident insurance plays an important role, especially amid the increasing public mobility during the homecoming period,” said Sutadi.
