BRI Life is strengthening digitalisation and operational efficiency to maintain business performance amid the dynamics of the life insurance industry. The strategy also includes product development, governance strengthening, and risk management.

BRI Life Finance Director Lim Chet Ming said changes in industry conditions require data-based decision-making. The company also needs to adjust its business strategy to market developments.

“Amid increasingly dynamic industry conditions, we believe that adaptive leadership and data-based decision-making as well as critical thinking are important factors in maintaining business sustainability,” Chet Ming said in a press release on Saturday (29/8/2026).

According to him, digitalisation is one of BRI Life’s focuses to improve services to customers. Product development is also directed to suit customer needs and market changes.

On the operational side, the company is encouraging efficiency while strengthening risk management and governance. This step is aimed at maintaining business sustainability amid changes in the life insurance industry.

Chet Ming said this strategy goes hand in hand with efforts to maintain the company’s performance. BRI Life won the Excellent Performance Life Insurance Company 2026 award (Based on Financial Performance 2025) and Life Insurance with Consistent Excellent Performance for 15 Consecutive Years (2012–2026).

In the assessment of the life insurance category, there are 11 indicators, including Risk Based Capital (RBC), liquidity, investment adequacy ratio, growth in insurance service income, net profit growth, as well as a number of profitability and investment ratios.

BRI Life was recorded as receiving an award for consistent performance over 15 years, from 2012 to 2026. According to Chet Ming, this achievement was supported by the company’s performance, customer trust, and synergy with the BRI Group ecosystem.

“Going forward, BRI Life will continue digitalisation, product and service development, operational efficiency, as well as strengthening governance and risk management to maintain business growth,” he said.
