BRI Launches Exclusive Lunar New Year Prosperity Event Celebrating Year of Fire Horse
BRI Hosts Exclusive Event to Usher in the Year of the Fire Horse, Celebrates Lunar New Year 2026

Jakarta, VIVA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, held the BRI Lunar New Year Prosperity 2026 event at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta (20 February). Embracing the spirit of the Lunar New Year 2026, known as the Year of the Fire Horse, this event serves as a demonstration of BRI’s appreciation for cultural diversity, while also strengthening relationships with customers in a warm and meaningful gathering infused with Chinese cultural elements throughout the event.
The event was attended by BRI’s Chief Commissioner, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, BRI’s President Director, Hery Gunardi, BRI’s Deputy President Director, Viviana Dyah Ayu R.K, and the BRI’s Board of Directors, along with over 300 BRI customers.
The series of activities began with the Foyer Experience, serving as a welcoming area, featuring guzheng music and several thematic activities, including Painting Fans, Face Reading, Zodiac Card, Taste of Peranakan, and Wheel of Fortune. The experience in the foyer area was designed to create a memorable celebratory atmosphere from the moment guests arrived.
BRI’s President Director, Hery Gunardi, stated that the spirit of the Year of the Fire Horse serves as an important reminder of the importance of energy, courage, and resilience in maintaining sustainable growth.
“In this new year, we are entering the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of energy, courage, the spirit to move forward, and resilience in facing challenges. The horse symbolizes speed and perseverance, while the element of fire represents spirit, transformation, and the strength to continue growing,” he said.
Moving into the main series of events, the Barongsai and Bian Lian performances were among the highlights, conveying messages of good fortune, positive energy, and transformation. The event also included a Yee Sang Ceremony, rich in meaning related to prosperity and collaboration, in line with the spirit of shared growth, as well as a Feng Shui Talk, designed to provide insights for customers in welcoming the Lunar New Year, both from a personal and business planning perspective, before the entire series of events concluded with special entertainment and a prosperity moment.
