PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk continues to expand financial inclusion through strategic collaborations with the digital payment ecosystem. One of the latest innovations introduced is the cardless cash withdrawal service for GoPay users, which can be accessed through the ATM and CRM network throughout Indonesia. This initiative is part of BRI’s efforts to meet society’s needs for cash access that remains relevant in various transaction activities, from traditional markets and transportation to other daily requirements. BRI’s Director of Information Technology, Saladin Dharma Nugraha Effendi, emphasised that the bank’s extensive network infrastructure is the main foundation for the success of this service. With more than 19,000 ATMs and CRMs spread across Indonesia, the public can now withdraw GoPay balances in a practical, secure, and unobstructed manner, even in locations far from city centres. “Through the concept of an open and integrated network, BRI is strengthening the national digital financial ecosystem,” he stated. He added that this infrastructure support makes it easier for the public to access cash needs in various areas they visit. In addition, the interoperability system supports smooth and secure transactions, including integration with other banks’ ATM networks under the Link network. With this interconnected system, cash withdrawals via the GoPay application become easier, faster, and more reliable, further strengthening the national digital payment ecosystem. Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, stated, “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to providing inclusive financial services to the public. Now, GoPay users can withdraw their balances in a practical and secure manner at BRI ATMs throughout Indonesia.” He emphasised that this service is a concrete step in supporting financial access for all Indonesians. The following are the steps to withdraw cash via the GoPay application: - Open the GoPay application and select Withdraw Cash. - Select BRI ATM. - Enter the amount and input the GoPay PIN. - A cash withdrawal code will appear. - Visit the nearest BRI ATM or CRM and select the Cardless Transaction menu.
