Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) has channelled assistance in school equipment and operational costs to two foundations in Jakarta through its corporate social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) programme during Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.

Assistance was provided on 26-27 February 2026 to Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera in Cipayung, East Jakarta, and Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta (Bayata) in Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

“We hope this assistance will benefit the children and ease the foundation’s operational costs,” said BRI Insurance Chief Executive Budi Legowo, according to his statement in Jakarta on Sunday.

He stated that the activity is part of the company’s commitment to supporting education and community social activities.

Meanwhile, Rahmat, a representative of Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera, expressed appreciation for the assistance provided.

“We feel greatly assisted; we hope this will encourage the children to pursue their dreams,” he said.

Elsewhere, BRI Insurance Independent Commissioner Benny Imam Syafii handed over assistance to Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta representative, Lukmanul Hakim.

“We are here to provide school equipment and operational costs to help the foundation’s daily activities,” Benny stated.

Lukmanul, representing the foundation, hopes the assistance will ease the needs of the children at the foundation and support the continuation of operational activities.

BRI Insurance stated that the TJSL activity is part of the company’s commitment to fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities, aligned with the sustainability principles applied by the company.
