BRI Insurance has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing financial literacy, specifically regarding insurance, and supporting educational development through an Insurance Literacy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme held at STAI Madinatul Ilmi, Depok. This educational institution provides free learning opportunities for underprivileged members of the community.

With approximately 90 per cent of its students originating from low-income families, the foundation plays a vital role in providing access to education and nurturing high-achieving young generations. Consequently, support from various parties, such as the programme implemented by BRI Insurance, is essential to ensure the sustainability of educational programmes and the development of student potential.

The event was attended by approximately 100 participants, including administrators, lecturers, staff, and students. Attendees gained insights into the importance of insurance and risk management as components of better future planning. Additionally, BRI Insurance presented educational material regarding integrated cattle farming management as a form of empowerment to provide added value to the community.

As a gesture of support for the education sector, BRI Insurance also donated educational equipment in the form of laptop units to support teaching and learning processes and improve the quality of education within the campus environment.

Heri Supriyadi, Director of Compliance and Risk Management at BRI Insurance, stated that this activity is part of the company’s commitment to delivering broader benefits to society through education and empowerment.
