BRI Insurance Readiness Service for Mudik: Mitigating Travel and Asset Risks
Jakarta — The Eid mudik season is an eagerly anticipated moment for communities to return to their hometowns and reunite with family. However, beneath this joy lie various potential risks requiring mitigation, both during travel and to assets left behind.
Addressing these needs, PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) has introduced its Eid Mudik Readiness Service 2026 to provide peace of mind and comfort for travellers.
The risks faced extend beyond the journey itself to assets such as houses, apartments, shophouses, business premises, and vehicles left unattended. Threats of theft, fire, flooding, and natural disasters require early anticipation.
In support of smooth mudik travel flow, BRI Insurance has prepared several services, including BRINS Stop Point as alert posts in four cities: Yogyakarta, Semarang, Pekalongan, and Surabaya. Additionally, 108 alert workshops are distributed throughout Indonesia, 24-hour towing services (terms and conditions apply), and 24-hour customer support via WhatsApp, call centre, and the BRINSmobile application.
These services target communities undertaking mudik journeys using personal vehicles or leaving assets unattended during the Eid holiday, enabling them to feel more secure and protected.
The programme represents part of BRI Insurance’s commitment to providing services that are closer and more relevant to community needs, particularly during the Eid mudik season.
Beyond alert services, BRI Insurance also presents special promotional insurance products for the Eid Mudik edition, valid from 9-27 March 2026. For BRINS ASRI Home Insurance and Apartment Insurance products, a 15 percent discount and cashback of up to 200,000 rupiah are available for purchases through the BRImo application.
Meanwhile, BRINS OTO Vehicle Insurance offers a 25 percent discount, accompanied by cashback and fuel vouchers of up to 600,000 rupiah. BRINS DIRI Personal Accident Insurance is also available with a 25 percent discount, subject to terms and conditions.
Digital access to insurance services can be enjoyed through the BRINSmobile and BRImo applications.
Through these varied services and promotions, BRI Insurance hopes that communities can undertake mudik journeys and Eid holidays with greater safety, comfort, and peace of mind.
