BRI Insurance provides Eid homecoming readiness service for 2026
Jakarta — PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) has introduced its Eid Homecoming Readiness Service for 2026 to provide security and peace of mind for travellers during the 1447 Hijriah Eid transport season.
“Through the 2026 Eid Homecoming Readiness Service, we want to ensure that the public can undertake their journeys with a sense of security and peace of mind, supported by services that are easy to access, responsive, and trustworthy,” said BRI Insurance Chief Executive Budi Legowo in a written statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to him, the Eid homecoming period is always an occasion anticipated by the public to return to their hometowns and gather with family. However, behind this joy, there are various potential risks of loss that need to be anticipated, both during travel and to assets left behind during the Eid holiday.
In response to these needs, the company has introduced the 2026 Eid Homecoming Readiness Service to provide security and peace of mind for travellers, Budi said.
He assessed that risks may occur not only during travel, but also to assets such as homes, apartments, shop-houses, business premises, and vehicles left behind.
“Threats such as theft, fire, flooding, natural disasters, and other unforeseen risks are important matters to be anticipated from the outset,” he said.
To support smooth homecoming travel, BRI Insurance has prepared various services, including “BRINS Stop Points” as readiness posts in four cities: Yogyakarta, Semarang, Pekalongan, and Surabaya.
These are complemented by 108 readiness repair workshops spread across Indonesia, 24-hour towing services (terms and conditions apply), and 24-hour customer care services via WhatsApp Live Chat Melisha at 08118014081, Call Centre 14081, or toll-free call centre services through the BRINSmobile application available on App Store and Play Store.
He said these services were specifically designed for members of the public who are travelling during homecoming using private vehicles or leaving their assets behind during the Eid holiday, so they can feel more secure and protected.
He further stated that the initiative is part of the company’s commitment to providing protection relevant to the public’s needs.
“This programme is also in line with government efforts in providing services for homecoming travellers so that journeys can be safer and more comfortable,” Budi said.
Beyond readiness services, BRI Insurance is also offering special promotional insurance products for the Eid Homecoming edition, with a period from 9 to 27 March 2026.
For BRINS ASRI Home Insurance and Apartment Insurance, the public can enjoy a 15 per cent discount as well as cashback of up to 200,000 rupiah exclusively for purchases through the BRImo application.
Meanwhile, BRINS OTO Vehicle Insurance offers a 25 per cent discount accompanied by cashback and Pertamina vouchers ranging from 150,000 to 600,000 rupiah. BRINS DIRI Personal Accident Insurance is also available with a 25 per cent discount subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The convenience of obtaining insurance protection online is accessible to the public at any time and anywhere through the BRINSmobile and BRImo applications.
With the various services and promotions offered, BRI Insurance hopes that the public will be able to enjoy their Eid homecoming travel and holiday with greater safety, comfort, and peace of mind.
