BRI Insurance Distributes Educational Assistance to Two Foundations in Jakarta
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental (CSRE) programme during Ramadan, PT BRI Asuransi Indonesia (BRI Insurance) has provided educational assistance for orphaned and underprivileged children. On 26–27 February 2026, assistance in the form of school equipment and operational costs was handed over to two institutions: Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera in Cipayung and Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta (Bayata) in Penjaringan.
Chief Executive Officer of BRI Insurance, Budi Legowo, directly presented the assistance to the representative of Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera, Ustad Rahmat. Budi stated that this action represented a concrete step by the company in supporting the education of young people.
“We also extend our gratitude to Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera for receiving BRI Insurance so warmly and giving us the opportunity to share with the children at this foundation. I hope that the assistance provided by BRI Insurance will be beneficial for all the children here and can help ease the operational activities of Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera,” said Budi.
In response, Ustad Rahmat appreciated the attention paid to the educational needs of children at his foundation.
“Thank you to BRI Insurance for all the assistance provided to Yayasan Ridho Berkah Sejahtera. We truly feel helped by the assistance given. Hopefully, in the future, the assistance provided by BRI Insurance will make the children and operational activities at the foundation even better,” said Ustad Rahmat.
At a different location, Benny Imam Syafii, Independent Commissioner of BRI Insurance, directly presented assistance to Lukmanul Hakim, representative of Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta (Bayata). “As representatives of BRI Insurance, we are very grateful that our visit has been received warmly by you, madam, and the children at Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta (Bayata). Today we are here to provide assistance in the form of school equipment and funds to help the daily activities of the foundation,” said Benny.
Lukmanul Hakim hopes that this assistance will serve as motivation for the children to pursue their education.
“Thank you BRI Insurance for providing assistance to Yayasan Baitul Yatama Jakarta (Bayata). Hopefully, with this assistance, we can lighten the burden of children who wish to achieve their dreams, and may it also be a blessing for BRI Insurance,” said Lukmanul.
The activity carried out by BRI Insurance teaches the importance of sharing and caring for one another. Rather than simply pursuing spiritual reward, it represents a tangible expression of concern for others, particularly those observing the holy month of fasting.
Beyond focusing on general insurance for economic resilience, BRI Insurance also plays a role in corporate social responsibility and environmental protection. Going forward, the company plans to distribute sustainable CSR activities across various regions. This approach aligns with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and the company’s vision of becoming a reliable protective partner for society and the environment.
