PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has recorded positive performance in its housing finance portfolio, with the disbursement of the Housing Program Credit (KPP) reaching Rp12 trillion for 83,210 debtors as of 8 September 2024.

Furthermore, the realisation of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) has reached 25,030 housing units, aligning with the commitment target of 60,000 units for this year.

BRI’s Director of Consumer Banking, Aris Hartanto, stated in Jakarta on Friday that the company will continue to strengthen its role in supporting the acceleration of the 3 Million Houses Programme through synergy with the government and developers.

Last Thursday (10/9), BRI held a socialisation session regarding the KPP and FLPP housing finance programmes at the Gelanggang Jakarta Timur in Jakarta.

The disbursements include supply-side financing amounting to Rp242.5 billion for 110 debtors, consisting of developers at Rp73.6 billion for 29 debtors, building material shops at Rp39.8 billion for 23 debtors, and housing contractors at Rp129.1 billion for 58 debtors.

Meanwhile, demand-side financing reached Rp185 billion for 1,509 MSME debtors.

Aris stated that the socialisation and disbursement of these facilities represent the company’s strategic commitment to accelerating housing finance inclusion in Indonesia.
