BRI Gains Global Recognition, Wins Two Asian Banking & Finance Awards
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has once again achieved international recognition by winning two awards at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2026 held in Singapore on Thursday (2/7/2026). BRI was named Domestic Liquidity Management Bank of the Year and Domestic Retail Bank of the Year, reflecting the company’s success in strengthening business capabilities, accelerating digital transformation, and delivering innovative financial solutions for customers across various segments.
BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny said the international recognition serves as motivation for the company to continue providing banking services that add value for all customer segments while strengthening its role as a trusted financial partner.
“This award is recognition of BRI’s efforts to build banking services that are increasingly relevant to customer needs. We see that asset management today is not only focused on value creation, but also on how that value can be preserved and passed on across generations. Therefore, we continue to strengthen BRI’s role as a trusted partner for customers at every stage of their financial journey,” said Dhanny on Saturday (15/8/2026).
The Domestic Liquidity Management Bank of the Year award was given for BRI’s ability to deliver integrated liquidity management solutions for corporate and institutional customers. Through various treasury and cash management solutions, BRI helps customers optimise cash flow management, improve operational efficiency, and support decision-making through integrated transaction and liquidity management services.
One of the main drivers of this achievement is QLola by BRI, an integrated corporate solution platform that brings together cash management, trade finance, supply chain, foreign exchange, and investment services in a single digital ecosystem. The platform enables corporate customers to manage transactions and liquidity more efficiently, securely, and in real time through a single integrated access point.
As of June 2026, the number of QLola by BRI users reached more than 384,000, growing 49% year-on-year (YoY). In line with this increased adoption, transaction volume processed through the platform reached Rp6,857 trillion, growing 35% YoY. In the same period, the number of QLola by BRI transactions reached 43.1 million, an increase of 28% YoY compared to the previous year. This performance also contributed to the company’s third-party funds (DPK) of Rp309 trillion and fee-based income (FBI) of Rp53.8 billion.
“The use of QLola by BRI continues to expand across various industrial sectors, from agribusiness, mining, FMCG, telecommunications, to digital economy sectors such as e-commerce and fintech. This reflects the growing need of businesses for digital solutions that can support efficient, integrated, and real-time financial and operational management,” said Dhanny.
In addition to excelling in corporate banking services, BRI also won the Domestic Retail Bank of the Year award in recognition of the company’s consistency in expanding access to financial services, strengthening digital capabilities, and delivering product innovations that meet the needs of the public.
Supported by an extensive service network and a continuously developing digital ecosystem, BRI is able to deliver an easy, secure, and inclusive banking experience for all levels of society.
