PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) is continuing to strengthen its wealth management services by presenting increasingly diverse global investment options for customers. Through a partnership with Batavia Prosperindo Aset Manajemen, BRI customers can now access various US dollar (USD)-based mutual fund products practically via the BRImo super app and branch work units.

This collaboration is part of the company’s efforts to expand investment choices for customers amid evolving global market dynamics. In addition to providing ease of access through digital platforms, the partnership also opens opportunities for customers to gain exposure to various investment themes in international markets.

Through the partnership, BRI is introducing three mutual fund products: Batavia China Sharia Equity USD, Batavia Technology Sharia Equity USD, and Batavia USD Bond Fund. The three products offer different investment characteristics, ranging from exposure to growth sectors in China and the global technology industry to USD-based government bond instruments.

Batavia China Sharia Equity USD invests in shares of companies in China, including Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan, with a focus on long-term growth themes such as artificial intelligence (AI), humanoid robots, consumption recovery, and the electric vehicle supply chain. Meanwhile, Batavia Technology Sharia Equity USD provides exposure to global technology and communication sector companies that are an important part of the digital economy’s development. Batavia USD Bond Fund invests in USD-denominated government bonds with a short-duration strategy to help keep portfolio volatility measured.

BRI’s Director of Consumer Banking, Aris Hartanto, said that the strengthening of wealth management services is being carried out continuously in line with the growing needs of customers for more diverse investment choices. According to him, the integration of investment services into BRImo is part of BRI’s strategy to deliver a more practical and integrated financial experience for customers.

“Through the partnership with Batavia Prosperindo Aset Manajemen, BRI presents increasingly diverse global investment options for customers. The presence of these USD mutual fund products also expands the investment alternatives that can be accessed through BRImo, so customers can manage their banking transactions and investments on one platform. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen wealth management services and enrich the range of products and services relevant to customer needs,” said Aris.
