PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) strengthens its commitment to providing customer convenience for international transaction needs through optimising BRI Money Changer services. The facility’s presence represents the company’s tangible support in providing official and transparent foreign exchange transaction access at strategic locations. To accommodate diverse transaction needs, BRI Money Changer offers exchange for 20 major foreign currencies, including United States Dollar (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), Great British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Philippine Peso (PHP), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Korean Won (KRW), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR), Thailand Baht (THB), New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), Vietnam Dong (VND), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Swiss Franc (CHF), Canadian Dollar (CAD), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), and Brunei Dollar (BND). BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny stated that the money changer service is part of the company’s efforts to provide accessible foreign exchange transaction services for the public. ‘This service development is a concrete effort by BRI to simplify customer transactions with practical foreign exchange solutions at departure and arrival points. Through competitive exchange rates and maintained service standards, BRI ensures certainty and efficiency for customers,’ Dhanny said. Currently, BRI Money Changer outlets are fully operational to serve customers at major international transport hubs. Foreign exchange services are available directly at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Bintan Telani Port, and Motaain Cross-Border Checkpoint in East Nusa Tenggara. The service is also widely accessible through BRI’s branch network across Indonesia. ‘Through the money changer service, BRI ensures all foreign exchange transactions are conducted officially, securely, and integrated with the banking system. The service is also expected to support the smooth flow of economic activities and public mobility at high-cross-border activity points,’ Dhanny added.
