BRI Distributes Record Rp 52.1 Trillion Dividend, Danantara Said to Accelerate Transformation

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) has distributed the largest cash dividend in the company’s history. During the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, BRI approved a dividend payout of Rp 52.1 trillion, equivalent to Rp 346 per share, sourced from the 2025 fiscal year net profit. BRI President Director Hery Gunardi stated that the establishment of Danantara serves as a catalyst to accelerate business transformation while reinforcing BRI’s role in supporting the government’s strategic programmes. In the first quarter of 2026, BRI recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp 15.5 trillion, marking a 13.7% increase compared to the same period the previous year. Credit disbursement also rose to Rp 1,562 trillion, while third-party funds reached Rp 1,555 trillion.
