Under the supervision of Danantara, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk continues to strengthen its role as a driver of the people’s economy through enhanced performance, sustainable business transformation, and a commitment to creating added value for the community and the state.
The Company’s solid performance throughout 2025 serves as the foundation for BRI to once again provide a significant contribution to the state through dividend distribution. During the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2026 fiscal year held on Friday (10/04/2026), the Company set a total cash dividend distribution for the 2025 fiscal year of Rp52.1 trillion, or Rp346.00 per share.
This dividend distribution is based on the Company’s consolidated current year profit for the fiscal year ending 31 December 202le, which amounted to Rp57.132 trillion, with total profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity reaching Rp56.65 trillion. This achievement once again positions BRI as one of the largest dividend contributors to the state, while reflecting the Company’s ability to maintain long-term business growth.
This momentum of solid performance has continued into the beginning of 2026. In the first quarter of 2026, BRI successfully booked a consolidated net profit of Rp15.5 trillion, representing a 13.7% year-on-year (yoy) growth. In terms of intermediation, credit distribution reached Rp1,562 trillion, an increase of 13.7% yoy, while Third-Party Funds (DPK) were recorded at Rp1,555 trillion, growing by 9.4% yoy.
Amidst maintaining strong performance fundamentals, BRI President Director Hery Gunardi emphasised that the presence of Danantara serves as an important momentum for BRI to strengthen synergy, accelerate transformation, and enhance the Company’s role in supporting the national development agenda.
“BRI will continue its transformation by relying on strong fundamentals, strengthening core businesses, and developing new growth sources. The existence of Danantara is a vital momentum for BRI to strengthen its role in supporting the achievement of national strategic programmes and various government priority programmes. We want to ensure that the Company’s growth is reflected not only in financial performance but also in BRI’s real contribution to empowering MSMEs, strengthening the people’s economy, and creating a broader economic impact for society,” said Hery.
