BRI Distributes 700 Basic Food Packages to Denpasar Residents
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has distributed assistance comprising 700 packages of basic foodstuffs to residents of Denpasar. The BRI Social Activity programme was held at BRI Region 17 Denpasar on Friday, 6 March 2026.
Regional CEO of BRI Region 17 Denpasar, Hery Noercahya, stated that the sharing initiative during Ramadan represents the red-plate bank’s commitment to society, particularly those in need. “Through this BRI Social Activity, we wish to share joy with the community, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan,” he said in a written statement on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
The distribution of basic foodstuffs was carried out in cooperation with the Denpasar City Ministry of Religious Affairs. The assistance distribution constitutes a routine annual agenda for BRI as a commitment to corporate social responsibility and providing meaningful contributions to the community.
Noercahya added that BRI will continue to commit to introducing various social programmes that deliver positive impact for society. The state-owned enterprise will also strengthen itself as a financial institution that is not solely business-oriented, but also demonstrates social care towards the surrounding environment.
Acting Head of the Denpasar City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Ida Bagus Dibya, appreciated BRI’s concern for the community through the social activities conducted in conjunction with Ramadan. “The synergy between BRI and the Denpasar City Ministry of Religious Affairs is expected to provide broad benefits to the community, particularly for those in need during this blessed month,” he said.
