BRI Collaborates with Investment Ministry to Support MSME Development Through Business Identification Numbers
Jakarta, IDN Times - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) continues to actively support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in scaling up their businesses. This includes branding and business digitalisation, with BRI collaborating with the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to actively promote the Business Identification Number (NIB). The NIB can be issued through the Ministry of Investment/BKPM's Online Single Submission (OSS) system, which is also useful for loan applications and opening savings accounts at BRI.
Most recently, BRI participated in a ceremony for the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for micro and small business operators at Nanggala Building, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/7). The event was attended by President Joko Widodo, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir, Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cooperatives and MSMEs Minister Teten Masduki. BRI President Director Sunarso was also present, accompanied by BRI Director of Small and Medium Business Amam Sukriyanto.
