BRI (BBRI) to Hold AGM This Afternoon, Discussing Key Agenda and Dividends!
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) today, Friday (10/4/2026), at 14:00. In the AGM summons, the state-owned bank will discuss seven agenda items. Among them is the long-awaited item for investors: approval of the use of BRI’s net profit for the 2025 fiscal year. BRI’s board of directors explained that in accordance with Article 27 paragraph (12) of the Company’s Articles of Association jointly with Article 72 of the Company Law, on 17 January 2026, the Company has paid interim dividends for the 2025 fiscal year, which are accounted for in the dividends from the Company’s net profit for the 2025 fiscal year. As a reminder, BRI distributed interim dividends for the 2025 fiscal year amounting to Rp137 per share or a total of Rp20.63 trillion, paid on 15 January 2026. This policy stems from net profit as of 30 September 2025, with the recording date (shareholder registration) on 2 January 2026. Furthermore, the bank for the little people will provide additional dividends for the 2025 fiscal year. For the 2024 fiscal year, BRI distributed cash dividends totalling Rp51.73 trillion or Rp343.40 per share. That amount includes interim dividends of Rp20.33 trillion or Rp135 per share. Meanwhile, BRI’s net profit for the year running was recorded at Rp57.13 trillion throughout 2025. That profit attainment declined 5.26% year-on-year (yoy) from Rp60.30 trillion in 2024. However, BRI President Director Hery Gunardi has signalled that the dividend payout amount this year will increase from last year. He referred to the current capital condition of the state-owned bank being very adequate and far above regulatory requirements, as reflected in a capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of 23.52%. In addition to dividends, BRI will also discuss changes to the Company’s Articles of Association, in connection with the signing of the BBRI Share Transfer Agreement as set out in the Letter of the Ministry of SOEs and the Letter of PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero). The Ministry of SOEs and DAM, as BBRI shareholders, have approved the transfer of a portion of DAM Series B shares in the Company to the Ministry of SOEs.
