PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has once again recorded an achievement at the international level by winning three prestigious awards at the 20th Annual Best Financial Institution Awards 2026 organised by Alpha Southeast Asia. BRI won the Special Marquee Award for Best Transactional Banking Online Platform in Indonesia, Best Cash Management Bank in Indonesia, and Best Financial Inclusion Bank in Indonesia. The three awards serve as recognition of BRI’s success in strengthening its wholesale transaction banking business capabilities.

BRI Corporate Banking Director Riko Tasmaya stated that the achievement reflects the company’s consistency in delivering transaction services, digital solutions, and financial access relevant to customer needs amid the ongoing transformation of the financial industry. “This award is a motivation for BRI to continue improving service quality and strengthening digital capabilities that support the needs of customers, both corporations, institutions, and business players in various sectors. We believe that sustainable innovation and digital transformation are key to delivering services that are increasingly relevant, efficient, and value-added for customers,” said Riko.

For two decades, Alpha Southeast Asia has been known as one of the institutions that consistently provides independent assessments of financial institution performance in the region. This recognition further underscores BRI’s competitiveness in keeping pace with a number of leading banks at the regional and international levels.

One of the most prestigious awards won by BRI is the Special Marquee Award for Best Transactional Banking Online Platform in Indonesia. The Marquee Award is given to financial institutions deemed to have the best capabilities in certain strategic fields based on innovation, technology investment, service quality, and contribution to addressing customer needs. The recognition was achieved thanks to the existence of QLola by BRI, an integrated digital platform that connects various transaction banking services, from Cash Management to Supply Chain Financing, into a single ecosystem. The presence of QLola by BRI allows customers to manage transactions and liquidity more easily, efficiently, and in real-time, thereby supporting faster and more accurate business decision-making.

BRI also won the Best Cash Management Bank in Indonesia award for its success in delivering innovative cash management solutions through QLola by BRI. As of the first half of 2026, the number of active QLola by BRI users has reached more than 99,000, growing 42.6% year-on-year. This reflects the high level of adoption and customer trust in BRI’s digital capabilities.

In the same awards, BRI was also honoured with Best Financial Inclusion Bank in Indonesia, a form of recognition for BRI’s consistency in expanding access to financial services to remote parts of Indonesia. This commitment is realised through the BRILink Agent network, which has reached 1.13 million agents and served communities in more than 60,753 villages. The presence of BRILink Agents allows people to access banking services more easily without having to visit a branch office, while strengthening financial inclusion in various regions.
