BRI and REI Hold Property Expo to Boost Mortgage Lending
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is working to boost mortgage lending through the BRI x REI Expo Bali 2026. The collaboration with Real Estate Indonesia (REI) is being held at Living World Mall, Denpasar, from Saturday (4/7/2026) to Sunday (12/7/2026). BRI is offering a range of financing promotions to help the public own homes and vehicles. The state-owned bank is providing mortgage interest rates starting from 1.75 per cent fixed for one year, along with exemption from provision and administration fees. BRI Regional CEO for Region 17 Denpasar, Hery Noercahya, stated that the expo represents an effort by the state-owned bank to broaden public access to financing, particularly in the property and automotive sectors. ‘Through the BRI x REI Expo Bali 2026, we aim to make it easier for the public to realise their dreams of owning a home and a vehicle through various competitive financing solutions,’ he said in a press release on Tuesday (7/7/2026). Hery added that BRI has also prepared shopping vouchers worth up to Rp1 million for the first 10 debtors who purchase a home using BRI mortgage facilities during the exhibition. The state-owned enterprise is offering both fixed and stepped interest rate options with financing tenors of up to 20 years, tailored to the needs and financial capabilities of customers. The BRI x REI Expo Bali 2026 also connects the public with 15 property developers offering a variety of housing options designed to reach different market segments and buyer capacities. BRI is also offering motor vehicle loans with interest rates starting from 1.8 per cent flat for a one-year tenor, with customers able to choose financing tenors of up to five years. According to Hery, the collaboration with REI is expected to broaden public access to financing services while encouraging growth in the property and automotive sectors. These sectors are considered to have a multiplier effect on the economy as they involve many business actors and supporting industries. Hery expressed hope that the expo could serve as a momentum to increase quality financing distribution while providing convenience for the public in meeting their housing and vehicle needs.
