Brebes SOC 08 Hajj Pilgrims Complete Rituals, Prepare for Return
The entire Hajj ritual sequence for Brebes, Central Java, pilgrims in SOC 08 flight group has been completed. This was confirmed by Brebes Regional Hajj Officer (PHD) Azmi Asmuni Majid, who monitored the rituals in the Holy Land.
Azmi explained that the pilgrims have successfully completed all essential pillars, obligatory duties, and recommended practices of Hajj. The final rites began with the Tawaf Ifadah on Thursday afternoon, followed by Sa’i and Tahallul Tsani (final Tahallul).
Tawaf Ifadah is one of the main pillars of Hajj and is obligatory for all pilgrims.
‘We have completed all rituals. After performing Tawaf Ifadah, Sa’i, and the second Tahallul yesterday afternoon, today at 01:30 local time, the pilgrims proceeded to Jamarat to perform the third stoning of the devil as the final ritual,’ Azmi stated on Friday (29 May).
With the completion of the final stoning, all Hajj obligations for SOC 08 Brebes pilgrims have been fulfilled.
‘The only remaining task is to await departure and perform the Farewell Tawaf,’ Azmi added.
A Brebes Hajj pilgrim, Akhmad Nurokhman bin Zaeni, passed away at Saudi Germany Hospital in Madinah following heart treatment.
