Brebes Police Resort Ensures Clean Recruitment with Integrity Pact for 2026 Polri Intake
The Brebes Police Resort (Polres), under the Central Java Regional Police (Polda), has strengthened its commitment to producing high-quality Polri generations by holding the Oath-Taking and Signing of the Integrity Pact for the 2026 Integrated Polri Member Recruitment. This activity serves as the initial step and primary foundation to ensure the selection process runs in accordance with the BETAH principles (Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humanistic). This aligns with the National Police Chief’s instructions for the recruitment of Akpol cadets, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Enlisted Personnel this year. The crucial moment in the event was marked by the reading of the oath and the signing of the integrity pact document by representatives from the committee, supervisors, parents, and participants. This step was taken as a form of moral responsibility to ensure the recruitment process is free from cheating practices, placements, or gratifications. The Head of Public Relations Section of Brebes Polres, Iptu Indra Prasetyo, in his press statement on Wednesday (1/4), explained the latest data on the number of registrants participating in this initial selection stage. “A total of 44 prospective students have registered at Brebes Polres, with the following breakdown: Akpol route 4 people (3 men, 1 woman), Non-Commissioned Officers 39 people (31 men, 8 women), and Enlisted Personnel 1 person (man),” said Indra through the press statement, quoted on Wednesday (1/4). Indra emphasised that Brebes Polres hopes to continue building public trust. The Polri institution is committed to transforming into an increasingly professional organisation through a competitive and fair recruitment system. “We want to ensure that whoever graduates later are the best sons and daughters with high integrity. The presence of external supervisors and the involvement of parents today is proof that this selection is objective and there is no room for ‘backroom deals’,” explained Indra. Indra hopes that these prospective Polri members from Brebes can pass all selection stages with their best abilities. “For dedication to the nation and state in the future,” he concluded. The event was attended by the Deputy Chief of Brebes Polres accompanied by the ranks of Main Officials (PJU) from the Head of Human Resources Division, Head of Legal Section, Head of Public Relations Section, to Head of Health Section. In addition to the internal committee, the event also involved external supervisors, experts, parents, and all selection participants to ensure transparency at every level.
