Breakout! Arisan Financial Leaves JFF 2026 Attendees in Stitches
Jogja Financial Festival (JFF) 2026 continued at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC). On day two, Surya Insomnia entertained visitors with the Arisan Financial programme. DetikJogja noted that the atmosphere grew lively from the afternoon, with attendees from various backgrounds eagerly following the entertainment that forms part of the financial-literacy festival.
In the session hosted by Indonesia’s comedy backbone Surya Insomnia, alongside team captains Kimau Gerbang, Vidi Bule and Mimin Eva, the audience were invited to interact through quizzes and jokes. In the first session, Surya invited student representatives from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), UIN Jogja, and Sanata Dharma University to come on stage to participate.
“Tadi di VT-nya kita lihat ibu-ibu jawabnya ngaco, nah kita lihat anak muda jawabnya ngaco juga apa enggak,” Surya said at the opening of Arisan Financial.
In the first session, three teams were asked to play ‘enam deh’ (six each). Each participant answered questions posed by Surya.
Team A were asked to name the capital city in Indonesia, name a fruit starting with the letter S, and give a reason for arguing with a friend.
“Sebutkan alasan orang berantem sama teman?” Surya read the question.
“Bapaknya koruptor,” one participant from Team A replied, drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd.
“Sebutkan alasan mahasiswa datang ke seminar finansial?” Surya asked.
“Mau nonton Juicy Luicy,” replied a participant from Team C.
“Gua pikir mau belajar finansial, mau nonton Juicy Luicy,” Surya teased.
In this session, Team B won and received a prize; those who did not win were given vouchers.
In the following session, Surya invited schoolchildren to participate. Team A was filled with students from SMK Karya Rini Sleman, Team B with students from SMA Unggulan CT Arsa, and Team C with students from SMA Taruna Nusantara.
They played a guessing-game, ‘tebak huruf’. Answers from across teams that did not align heightened the laughter.
In Session 3, Surya again invited school participants to play ‘Yuk Bisa Yuk’. They were asked to continue Surya’s sentence.
Team A featured students from SMAN 6 Yogyakarta, Team B from SMKN 4 Yogyakarta, and Team C from SMAN 7 Yogyakarta.
“Nama dewa matahari dalam mitologi Yunani A..” Surya asked.
“Asep” replied a participant from Team C, attracting laughter.
“Apolo, of course,” Surya corrected.
The improvisations left the audience roaring with laughter to the end. Even Chairul Tanjung, chairman of CT Corp, who was among the audience, could not stop laughing.
Jogja Financial Festival 2026 runs across two days, 22-23 May 2026 at JEC Bantul. The event features a mix of business talks, educational classes, music and comedy live shows.
In addition to Arisan Financial, day two of JFF 2026 also showcased performances by Kiky Saputri, the Silet Open Up programme, and the Juicy Luicy band.
