Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) weakened by 1% to a level of 8,236.

As many as 489 shares fell, 276 shares remained unchanged, and only 190 shares experienced an increase. The trading volume of shares was recorded at 18.60 billion units, with a transaction frequency reaching 1.29 million, valued at IDR 11.45 trillion.

Earlier this morning, the IHSG opened up 29.13 points or 0.35% to a level of 8,351.36 in trading today, Thursday (February 26, 2026).

As many as 300 shares rose, 150 fell, and 519 did not move. The transaction value reached IDR 726.4 billion, involving 1 billion shares in 102,900 transactions. Market capitalization also increased to IDR 14,970 trillion.

However, a few minutes after the opening of trading, the IHSG’s gains were eroded and even briefly weakened slightly or by 0.06%.
